ABOUT THE ROLE

In highly technical terms, we are looking for a “data ninja” to help us turn insights into action and proof of impact. In this role, you will help us develop measurement strategies to translate our work in all defined marketing channels into quantifiable impacts on the client’s business objectives, with analytics tools and processes to help us optimize performance along the way. You need to have a genuine passion for analytics, the consumer journey and ability to articulate a path to some defined conversion.

The chosen candidate will oversee all aspects of collecting, measuring and interpreting data across all our digital marketing efforts to increase effectiveness, uncover business insights, influence audience behaviors and make better decisions. In this role, you will both roll your sleeves up and dig deep into the data firsthand, and build a strong team around you, leading and developing young talent.  

Qualified candidates will well-rounded, understand multi-channel execution strategies and tactics, web analytics, cross channel attribution, conversion optimization, and personalization. Experience with CRM systems and defining and delivering against well-defined user journeys is key. While you may love to nerd out on the data, you must also be able to translate that into easy-to-digest language for clients and fellow team members.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure the financial impact of our campaigns so we can confidently answer the inevitable ROI questions.
Support our Digital Media business – PPC/SEO, Paid Social, Email Marketing, Display, and Content Marketing.
Develop and maintain strategic client partnerships across all digital marketing channels.
Clearly convey strategic vision to instill confidence both in our clients, as well as within internal agency teams.
Optimize workflow in collaboration with a multitude of internal stakeholders to ensure adoption while ensuring business objectives are met.
Develop custom performance reporting models and analyses across multiple channels and make the learnings clear, consumable and actionable.
Meet with internal account teams, creative team members and brand planning teams to accurately scope out projects and budgets.
Define early in the process, what is going to be measured and how to report on the findings.
Work with internal digital team members and developers to ensure that data collection is setup properly.
Share knowledge and learnings across the agency to keep the teams informed.
Manage your workload and accurately track and report hours.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Positive attitude, extreme organization and attention to detail
8+ years of experience

Minimum education is an Associate’s degree with quantitative field academic/professional experience
A strong, independent work ethic, gives clear direction and requires minimal supervision, welcomes constructive feedback
Demonstrated ability to foster strong client relationships
Demonstrated ability to foster ideas and growth among a team
Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple digital marketing channels
Demonstrated proficiency in web analytics and customer centric marketing
Proven track record of cultivating positive change management
Proficiency with data visualization tools to effectively present the learnings
Experience with digital marketing or web analytics preferred (Omniture, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
Media Platforms and 3rd Party Tools (Google AdWords, DoubleClick, MediaMath, Bing Ads, ExactTarget, Hitwise, BrightEdge, Facebook, etc.)
CRM Data Analysis (Customer Segmentation, Churn, Lifetime Value, Acquisition, etc.)
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Strong problem solving and consulting skills
