ABOUT THE ROLE

Jackson Spalding, a full-service marketing communications agency, is seeking a social media expert to join our team in Dallas. Successful candidates will have 6-7 years of experience in social media and content marketing client work in an agency setting.

The ideal candidate is creative, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, collaborative and would enjoy an entrepreneurial environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Minimum 5 years of agency experience in social/digital
Strong project management skills
Leadership potential and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of social media channels
Experience implementing successful social media for Fortune 500 brands and medium-sized businesses
Paid social media experience
High attention to detail
Writing and editing skills
Creative and strategic thinking strengths
Bachelor’s degree (Journalism, Communications or Marketing a plus)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead social/content/digital projects as part of a large national client team, working closely with 4-5 others.
Make assignments, manage deadlines and present client-facing work.
Communicate recommendations to client team and manage client relationships.
Participate in strategy development and annual planning for integrated marketing communications tactics.
Contribute to measurement and analytics, making optimization recommendations.
Advance team and client knowledge of social/content/digital trends.
Provide internal training and coaching for account team members on social media strategy and execution to accelerate professional development.
